Yes. But when the users kept trying to suggest a three step process I
have heard elsewhere....eg. I figured that I would just try and install
something that works.
1. Remove application
2. Reboot
3. Install application
I notice the Ubuntu forums are full or rebooters. But having said that I
should really be welcoming them all, as one day I will be able to get a
job at a company that runs linux on the desktop. I look forward to it.
