I am trying to come up with a set top box style of converged home music 
/ video system which has the following.

DVD play and burn to HDD
Record TV to HDD
TV Card
Remote Control and onscreen display of music/dvd selections etc.
Play MP3 and Ogg.

The Oct issue of Linux Magazine has an article on Myth TV.

Is this the best option for a media centre style pc?
Anyone on list set/ting up something of the kind and if so can you share 
your learnings on hardware cards, usage gotchas etc.
