I went to your web pages, you do have all the good toys!! I blew my
tranny out the day after thanksgiving up in Virginia at Mom's. Good ole
350 V8 with a 4 barrel Holley and side exit Pipes big enough to put your
hand in. 1977 Cheyenne. I just had to kick the old girl in the slats
(the truck, not Mom!) to hear her roar up the country road and frighten
the locals. <floop!> out went the transmission. Luckily it was just a
seal that failed and I didn't need a rebuild, thank God. 

I forget what the transmission guy calls it, but there is a double throw
switch that I can throw to "lock up" something or another on it. It acts
like overdrive. The old babe sounds like a Chris Craft motorboat at 70.
Not one computer or emissions device on it. Nadda. Not even a smog pump.
So what if California won't let me in. I feel the same way about them!
