That sounds like Boston where the streets rarely have signs, and
the street numbering is truly ``interesting''. I think
Bostonians have the view that if you're from Boston, you know
where things are, and if you're not from Boston, you don't
deserve to know.
Reminds me of the problems I had finding Lester Square on the
London Underground. Who would have thought that Lester was
spelled Leicester?
