No, you understood correct.

A terminal emulator than can render HTML (lines, boxes
check buttons , tables and the like).

I do not need, or want, the ability to have links, URL or
anything else.

It must be able to return mouse coordinates (most emulators
will do that), display glyphs, pictures, all the while keeping
the spirit of a true terminal emulator.

Kinda like a GUI'phied terminal, or what I would call, the next
generation of terminal emulators.
