Any comments on a DELL 924 - All in one Photo-printer x Linux ?

On a more serious note, can anyone recommend a good printer that does 
not suck your bank account in replacing the printer cartridges?  Some 
time ago I bought an HP printer that was, as far as I'm concerned, 
essentially free (in the canonical 100 dollar neighborhood), but I must 
have spent easily ten times that in printer cartridges over the last 
year.  So my objective is low cost per page after initial purchase.
