My country (Singapore) sent several Chinooks to help shortly after the 
hurricane hit. I felt really proud opening the papers yesterday and 
seeing a picture of one of them dropping sandbags to help repair a 
levee. The US gave a lot to Southeast Asia after the Tsunami in December 
last year -- not too long ago. It's heartbreaking seeing the scenes of 
devastation in New Orleans.
