I still run eDesk 2.4 and OL 3.1.1 on my older boxes, a PI 233 and 
Celeron 850 respectively.
These are used mainly as word processing stations.  OL 3.1.1 is the more 
useful owing to USB support, so I can use my scanner and memory sticks 
with it, but old faithful eDesk 2.4 keeps an old, slow computer productive.

I expect to keep these old distro's in use indefinitely, since they run 
Word Perfect 2000/Linux, of which Paradox 9 is an indispensible app for me.
