Information about VPN

The firewall configuraton of my company is a little complicated, it has 
firewall in hardware and software, so I need to learn what I have.

They involve cisco switches, I presume; but the politics in my company 
are: Everything is closed until needed.

AFAIK I have a lot to learn... this isn't gonna easy :|
