In browsing your site, I came across the Ubuntu tips, which matches my
current interest. The tip for PHP5 appears to be deficient, ie
# php 5
dpkg --purge all-php4-packages
apt-get install bison
apt-get install flex
apt-get install apache-dev
apt-get install libxml2-dev
apt-get install libssl-dev
apt-get install libjpeg62-dev
apt-get install libpng12-dev
apt-get install libfreetype6-dev
apt-get install libc-client-dev
I see no reference to installing PHP5, or does one of the other
packages have a hidden dependancy for PHP5?
Care to elaborate?
Thanks,

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code ... If you write
the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not
smart enough to debug it.
