	I know of only two ways to do this. First, in Aptitude, search out each of 
the broken packages, individually with by pressing 'b' and, after identifying 
each package, mark it to be held ('=') as above.

	Alternatively, after identifying each of the broken packages, you could 
configure /etc/apt/preferences to set up apt-pinning, to not upgrade them. 
I'm afraid that I can't give you any advice other than point you to the APT 
How-To (http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/apt-howto/) in this instance, as 
I'm still trying to learn pinning, myself. :-)
