I understand.

In my case the only thing I'm being "driven from" is the PITA of
maintaining my own mail system and making that available again when I
change distros. Since my switchover, a couple of years ago, I only get
about 10 pieces of spam a day plus the one or two a week that slip
through the Gmail filters and have to be marked by hand. Since they
all wind up in a spam folder, it only takes two mouse strokes to whack
'em all.

And, of course, since I run Linux, I wouldn't recognize a virus if it
bit me in the rear.

It's Windows crap that is drving us from the internet, if anything is.
