slackware 10.2 woes

I realize that Slackware really forces a person to get under the hood and
get their hands dirty, but i've just stumbled into a problem that seems
more like a bug than understanding how to setup your distro.

I installed 10.2 (x86) on a system, and opted to use the 'testing' 2.6
kernel. The installation completed fine, and my system boots up fine but
there are *NO* kernel modules installed for the 2.6.13 kernel that was
installed. There isn't even a /lib/modules/2.6.13. Oddly, there is a
/lib/modules/2.4.31 (the default kernel for the installer), which makes me
think i've hit a bug. Surely there is no point in installing modules for
a kernel that isn't installed yet no modules for the kernel that is
installed.

Anyone have any quick ideas on how i can get the modules for the 2.6.13
kernel installed?

Seeing as how i have no modules, its kinda hard to do anything with this
system.
