Ferro-magnetic resonance transformer rectifiers with battery banks, LVD,
and a nice clean inverter.  Remember some big gas tubes and MOV's on the
mains coming in.  

Double your anticipated  drive time to get there for your planned run time
and get a decent generator with an automatic transfer switch.

Its kind of overkill but thats my design path for some comm/data sites we
are upgrading next year.
