Actually, the discussion is nowhere. After presenting David's comments
to my local group, the originator of the "Why Postgres" comment has
hidden under a rock. All the responses I got were from members who
agree with David. Go figure!
I'll stick by my comment. Given what little (actually precious little)
db experience I have, I'll never understand why MySQL is so insanely
popular, while Postgres remains a hidden gem.
