Intel Integrated Performance Primitives

Just a check. Anyone have any experience with Intel Integrated
Performance Primitives?

Context:

I have an largish image processing application to port and am looking at
useful low-level tools. The application has its own implementations, but
I thought these may be good if I choose to require intel processors.
(That last statement is NOT intended to start a processor discussion. It
is the tool kit I am curious about.)
