I'm up for it but I was only successful with Kubuntu 5.04.
My setup:
- Kubuntu 5.10
- Proxim Silver ORiNOCO 11b/g PC Card, which uses the Atheros
chipset, which is supported by madwifi
- D-Link DI-624 wireless router, etc.
I've not tried xsupplicant but rather wpa_supplicant. Some setup
configurations allow my wpa_supplicant to connect and even stay
connected but I never get an IP from the DHCP server.
If I change the security to WEP, I can connect every time.
My laptop dual boots and if I run Win2000, I can connect every time
with either WEP or WPA.
All that being said, I'd be happy to work with you on a SxS.
Brad.
