Which nameservers am I using?

Michael,

The two tools that I'm familiar with are dig and nslookup, but both say 
specifically in their man pages that they use /etc/resolv.conf. I'm not aware 
of any options to specify a dns server in /etc/network/interfaces. How are 
you doing it?
