Catestrophic failure

   I have had this 2 times now on a desktop box. I just rebuild the partitions
with the install disk, mine is a dvd. It is the reiserfs system. I have tried the
xfs and had problems right off a new system build. I do not know about ext3, is it
a journalling system? I generally use ext2 for /boot, reiserfs for all else.
