Repartioning NTFS File System

I just acquired a used IBM ThinkPad that has WinXP on the whole 20GB
drive.  I'd like to setup a dual boot but I can't find a way to change
the layout of the NTFS partition.  I'm planning on install FC3 but if
another distro has this ability built in, I'd be interested in hearing
about it.

Anyway, any thoughts on changing a NTFS partition, without destroying
the data therein?
