gentoo nvidia ebuilds?

3 months! Be careful. I had a diskless setup (that I cloned over and
over) that was OK, so I did not sync. When I finally wanted to, I found
that I could not because so many things had changed in the ebuild
layout. I eventually did a new diskless layout. Which I now sync
regularly.

I am not sure it is the actual emerge of the packages that is critical.
Just the syncing.

I did not try just getting a new portage tree when syncing blew up. That
would have been too smart...
