Your partisanship (at least in this case) runs counter to the facts. If 
you check the news articles, you'll notice that it passed the Senate by 
a 100-0 vote. Every single Democrat and Republican there supported it. 
This was done knowing that Bush is assured to sign it. So the Demos and 
Repubs both *know* it will become law.

At least in this case it would be closer to the facts to assert that the 
entire country is a bunch of idiots, not just those of us that very 
reluctantly cast our meaningless ballots for Comrade Bush back in 
November. Long live the King!
