hard drive noise

Anymore it's a lot like splitting hairs. The only disparity I can toss is at 
Maxtor Diamond Max drives. I've more than a few that require a stout 
powersupply before they will kick-on when I boot the machines. The drives 
must take a hell of a kick to get them moving. Each box that sports a PC 
POWER and COOLING power supply work fine, but all of the "whit box" power 
supplies just don't cut it.... won't even spin them a bit...

Aside from that, they've been quite reliable. Lucky I guess?
