hard drive noise

Seagate Barracuda IV, which I think are no longer produced. Failing
that, their SATA drives rock. I'm less concerned about quiet, though,
than I am about lifespan. I've been through 3 Western Digital drives.
The Seagate 40ish GB drive I had continues to work. 

Samsungs are good, but I've only had one of those, and that was in
a laptop at work.
