Connect using the IP address instead?

What command/utility isn't allowing spaces? Quoting?

I thought, but never verified, that a workgroup or domain name with 
spaces in it was illegal on MS stuff. Especially considering that a 
domain name automatically becomes the Internet domain name with a .com 
or such appended to it. You might want to open a dialog with the 
clueless goober that named a workgroup with spaces in it.
