If you can get it running it works great, I have three OSX machines and
they all see each other and advertise public services to each other.

I just picked up a Brother printer that has Zeroconf support I plugged 
it in all
the OSX machines saw it right away.  I did have zeroconf running on a
Suse box and it worked well.  I have also used the windows version with
no problems.
