When they work they work. Otherwise they do not. Hauppauge have a bad
reputation for changing components without notice or model number
change. Much time is given to getting the different versions to work.

One WinTV Go uses a Brooktree (bt787) chipset, while a same
named/numbered card uses a Conexant chip. They require different
drivers. Nice.

The biggest problem seems to be related to the audio part. I suspect it
is more of a moving target in Europe where standards do not cross
borders. Luckily for my use audio is not needed. There is a mailing list
for Video4Linux that you can monitor to see how various cards are
working.
