Not sure if this could be related but when I was using firefox / Deer 
Park Alpha 1 that page auto-detects ISO-8859-1 and displays garbage for 
some of the punctuation and non-printing characters. However when I 
change to UTF-8 it all displays well. Perhaps you have a font issue as a 
very rough guess... ? Try changing the encoding to UTF-8 for the lock-up 
pages.
