gmail + firefox woes

Not a solution but a 'me too'.   I think Firefox has some big problems.

I'm using 1.0.4 straight from mozilla.org and for normal browsing it is fine.  
(Don't use it for email)

But there are time when I want to download a lot of images from a particular 
site and after about 40 images Firefox generally just hangs in a loop.  If I 
kill it and start over, it works fine again.  This might be related to your 
problem in that maybe there's a memory leak or some other similar problem 
which shows up after opening a lot of different windows.

The problem is definitely repeatable.
