Umm I have seen about 4 snakes in approx 45years. One when I was new 
here out west in mulga country: Taipan. One down the road in the 
shopping centre and one in our laundry bot red-bellied blacks and one 
carpet snake (python). That is other than the non venomous ones. Turtles 
only when fishing, but quite a few sharks. Spiders lots of them but non 
venemous, and only two crocs about 4 metre.

Yep you are correct, if its venemous then we have the deadliest or 
second. Most people never see them though except in herpetariums or 
zoos. Even the platypus is venemous.
