bash dialog utility - perl equivalent?

That's right down my SLAG project's alley.

Menu building, Quick Selects', Maintenance Screens, Post procedures,
and the like.

All in a neat FoxPro/Access/Delphi like environment that has a NICE
"GUI"ish interface, without being a GUI. Oh, and DID I mention it is
fully mousable under any xterm/emulator?

It has the BIG advantage of utilizing the VERY powerful S-Lang script langauge.
