Some people don't understand the basic's of newtonian physics i.e. for
every action or lack thereof there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Trying to get them to understand is such a battle because frequently
they have a "friend" who "knows about computers" and doesn't have a clue
about what crackers can do once they 0wn a machine. They ask why do I
have to spend ~$85 per year on antivirus/firewall? only seeing the cost.
These same people ask me to give them free M$ software.

I so wish it was as simple as. "Unplug you computer you are too stupid
to own one".

Having said that once you get through bedrock and into grey matter they
get the point, but only after about 3 full system rebuilds.

I don't mind ISP's that have top line engineers but I hate ones that are
just "Thank you for you call, your call is important to us and we will
talk to you shortly" and then you get some person who is stuck to a
'fault finding' script and is really just waiting for their shift to end.
