180 pages of mechanical, electrical, and * engineering, do it yourself 
(DIY) goodness.  Published by O'Reilly, they do some of my favorite books.

It is not just the projects or the advertisers, it is just the ideas 
that looking through the pages generate.  I seriously doubt that I will 
ever do any of the projects in the magazine.  At least, not the way they 
are laid out.  There is enough information so that I can play with what 
I know about, and learn about what I don't know yet.  Coupled with the 
local junk store, I am spending way too much time not studying for my 
summer classes.
