xfce problem

Hi all

  This one is for those using xfce 4.x  I have the following message on several
programs on startup:
Gtk-WARNING **: /opt/gnome/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/engines/libxfce.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

 I have put in the /etc/ld.so.conf all paths to libxfce.so and ldconfig cmd. Then I do
the following:
RSivernell:~ # ldconfig -v | grep libxfce.so
ldconfig: Path `/lib' given more than once
ldconfig: Path `/lib64' given more than once
ldconfig: Path `/usr/lib' given more than once
ldconfig: Path `/usr/lib64' given more than once
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libgtkodbcconfig.so: No such file or directory
        libxfce.so -> libxfce.so
RSivernell:~ #

In /etc/ld.so.conf: has these in it
/opt/gnome/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/engines
/opt/gnome/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0
/opt/gnome/lib/gtk-2.0
/opt/gnome/lib/
I get it that something is not right here, but what?

any ideas is appreciated.
