I did get it up and going, hot plug works and put /dev/sdb1 in fstab.
Wife is happy she can get to her photos and play with them. I have a scsi Yamaha cdwriter. Got to figure out the best gui burner program for her. User I do not care, just want it to work, sound familiar, <g>
