Xorg will not start

  I have installed the Suse 9.2 86_64 Linux system for
the AMD64 cpu. Up & until last saturday all ran fine.
I needed to remove an extra cd-burner from the
machine, but after reboot, I get libX11.so.6 does not
exist error. Proble is that it does exist, in
/usr/X11R6/lib64 & /usr/X11R6/lib32 directories. I
have gone in and updated the system, repaired the
system and I still can not start the X server. I do
have a very nice text mode system.

Anyone have any ideas, if more info is required, I
will send it. It does have a new Asus K8N-E delus mobo
with 2 gig memory and a AMD 3400+ cpu. 2 new
Harddrives, 250 gig each. a new dvd burner combo.
