xffm can't seem to delete multiple files

was using xffm version 4.1.99.3 to try and delete several files in a 
directory however everytime I right click on the previously selected 
files to choose the Delete option from the context menu the selection of 
the files switches to the last selected file. Selecting the list of 
files with the mouse and then pressing the delete key works ... but I 
would like to do it all with the mouse.

Anyone know how to stop this behaviour?
