That's fine although I think that simple UDP query/response is probably
more efficient that maintaining a mysql database, not to mention not having
the potential of hanging the MTA waiting for tcp timeouts if something goes
wrong with the mysql connection.
Many of our customers are regional ISPs with thousands of e-mail accounts,
and hundreds of thousands of successful e-mail connections per day (we
won't talk about the number of rejections because of no rDNS, DNSRBLs, or
other anti- spam measures).
