anybody have experience with this outfit?

Do not feel alone on that. I am paying a premium for iDsl ($300USD per month) for
a 288K connection. At least I get a static IP.

bad thing is 5 miles away from here in a rural area is my house. The DSLAM is about
300 yards away from my house. Up the street from this office is a 12,000 pair
junction and they (Hell South) will not put in a remote/dslam - go figure.
