Gentoo: Kernel problems remain.

IIRC, genkernel does not use the .config from the /usr/src/linux directory as 
the default.  The default .config is somewhere in the genkernel structure.  (I 
don't remember where, but it lists it when called.)  The best way I have found 
to get what I want is invoke genkernel with --menuconfig and load my 
XXX.config file stored in /usr/src/linux.  (NOTE: the config file cannot be 
named '.config' since that file gets clobbered.)  That should make everyone happy.
