Hi All,

For those considering upgrading to the latest RC3 for XFCE 4.2 :

1. If you are a FC3 user, you should probably download the tarball for
the RPMs for RH9, not the RPMs for Fedora. For some reason, when I
installed the Fedora RPMs, the XFCE Settings Manager showed only 3
icond, and the right mouse click did not bring up a menu or anything.

2. You *will* however need to download and install the gtk-xfce-engine
from the Fedora RPMs for XFCE 4.2 RC3. Don't use the RH9 RPM for this
package.

3. These "caveats" are for those people upgrading using RPMs, not the
graphical installer or compiling from source.

XFCE4.2 is actually very cool. I like it a lot better than GNOME or the
older XFCE 4.0.x versions.
