COL eW31 was my favorite universal boot-CD (ie. Root Password Recovery
CD).  Since it had GRUB on it I could tell it to boot whatever however
I wanted, so long as I remembered the correct
partition/kernel/initrd.  Heck, during desperate measures, I even
booted using the CD's kernel and initrd ;)
