Let us know what you pick and why. I've been interested in a Blog app
for some time myself (yes, I know the thought of my being able to voice
my opinion at will scares many of you ;)

| Thanks, everyone, for your input. I haven't chosen a blogging app, but
| I've started evaluating them. In the meantime, here's the summary of
| the blogs people suggested and, when possible why:
|
| * SimpleBlog, a Plone-based product
| * eLog (http://midas.psi.ch/elog/ - more of a logbook handler than a
| traditional journaling-style blog, but it looks easy to set up and
| doesn't have a database back-end
| * blosxom - minimal setup, lots of plugins, evidently runs as a CGI
| * MovableType - runs as a CGI or an Apache Module and now has backend
| database support
| * WordPress - typical PHP/MySQL blog with support for multiple authors
| and workflow features; easy to customize and admin.
