SUMMARY: Favorite Blog Apps?

Thanks, everyone, for your input. I haven't chosen a blogging app, but
I've started evaluating them. In the meantime, here's the summary of
the blogs people suggested and, when possible why:
* SimpleBlog, a Plone-based product
* eLog (http://midas.psi.ch/elog/ - more of a logbook handler than a
traditional journaling-style blog, but it looks easy to set up and
doesn't have a database back-end
* blosxom - minimal setup, lots of plugins, evidently runs as a CGI
* MovableType - runs as a CGI or an Apache Module and now has backend
database support
* WordPress - typical PHP/MySQL blog with support for multiple authors
and workflow features; easy to customize and admin.
Other suggestions were for more general content management systems
(CMS), including Xaraya and Mambo (PHP + MySQL).
