The personal edition lacks some of the packages that are in the PRO version.  
Although all the peices *may* be there to set up a server, I would imagine 
you would find something missing.  The Pro version is best.   And buy the 
upgrade package if you're short of sheckles....  The only different between 
the upgrade and the Boxed version is that the boxed version contains more 
printed matter...  books...   You probably don't need them and I think they 
are on the media anyway.
