 Thanks for the link. I looked at the SxS site before posting, but I was 
looking in Storage section and not the hardware section and, so , missed it.

 I just set up a new with RAID1 & GRUB and had no problems whatsoever (other 
than the usual, self-inflicted kind.) I find GRUB much easier to administer 
than LILO, but that may just because that was what I first learned.

 (As an aside, COL eDesktop was my first Linux and, as all the Linux 
documentation talked about LILO, I assumed that was what I was using. It took 
me several hours/days before I finally discovered that COL was using 
something called GRUB.)
