I read this to mean something akin to VMWare's Virtual Networking, where
VMWare allows you to create virtual network segments within your system
and determine which network(s) a virtual machine lives on. This can
mean you run a VM which can *only* talk to your host system, or run
networking through NAT on your host system.
Although given what little I know about Win4lin, this seems a little
much, though. Does Win4lin run windows apps like in a VM like VMWare or
along side Linux apps like Wine?
Is this like coLinux for Windows, where the Linux Kernel runs along-side
the Windows kernel?
Is this a better option than Wine or Crossover Office? and why?

| Normal winsock does all normal stuff. Your browser and e-mail will work.
| I do not use VNET. If you are accessing remote shares in the Linux host
| via samba, they are available to win4lin, who is none-the-wiser and sees
| them as local files. VNET must be for special network situations,
| perhaps not running TCP/IP.
|
| If a remote printer is set up via samba and the normal linux printer
| queue, win2lin will see it. The remote printint is only if you expect
| windows to set up a printer interface on its own.
