Running the 2.6.14.2 kernel and a HT aware P4 here and all that needs to be
done is to compile smp and smt into the kernel... then reboot the new kernel.
If you've got fb support in kernel and used to see one penguin at boot time,
you'll see two penguins with an smp enabled kernel.
