If you are talking hard drives, I'd still have to go for Seagate
SATA drives. They can be had at very competitive prices at newegg.com.
They might not be as cheap as Maxtor or Western Digital, but, for my
money, the reliability is worth the small premium. I think Hitachi
bought IBM's DeathStar line of disks, so I'd stay away from those, too.
