Jerry,

Yes, I have three servers, here, cross-connected for server-to-server backup
purposes. It seems to be working. They all use Tyan Thunder AMD64 boards
which each come with two Gigabit & one 100base0T ethernet connections.

Two of the servers are my regular workhorse servers, while the third functions
as a backup servers. Each of the two workhorse servers are cross-connected by
means of the gigabit ports to the third server.

The hardest part for me was learning how to configure
my /etc/network/interfaces file (Debian) so that the assignment of ip numbers
and routing was done correctly.

Likewise!
